Dois Irmãos Hike & Favela Vidigal Tour

Hike up and down the Dois Irmãos trail and enjoy what is likely one of the best views in Rio. Along the way, you’ll pass through Vidigal Favela and get a glimpse of local culture and daily life.
What to wear: sports / proper clothes, shoes (hiking or running). Since the weather its kind of rainy, rain jacket is a good idea. Hats are also a good thing to have on you.
What to bring: bug spray, water, snacks in case you need them, sunblock, sunglasses.
Cultural Shock Alert: It’s a safe tour, but it might expose you to some realities of the community, such as the possibility of seeing stark living conditions, armed individuals, or visible drug-selling points

We will leave the hotel by 1:30PM
Meet our local favela guide at the botton part of the favela Vidigal
Get a another transfer ( a local favela van) up to the hiking starting point
Hike up then down
Walk down the Favela
The trail is steep in parts, but the view from the top is one of the most rewarding in Rio.
The total duration of the hike (up and down) is approximately 3 to 4 hours hours, depending on the group's pace.
Come with proper hike clothing and comfortable shoes. Bring sunscreem and water
In case of rain: we will assess the with the guide what is possible to do and update everyone.
